STAMFORD® Rectifier Service Kit P/N RSK-6001
STAMFORD® RSK6001 Diodes included with the the RSK6001 Rectifier Service Kit, are responsible for providing power to the Alternator rotor so it can induce voltage to the main windings of a STAMFORD® alternator.
The RSK6001 STAMFORD® Rectifier Service Kit is composed of the following components:
(3) Foward Diode Leads
(3) Reverse Diode Leads
(2) Varistor
A faulty diode may produce several failing conditions that will cause further damage to the alternator, including increased excitation which may damage the exciter rotor, or loss of voltage that will end up causing overload to the voltage regulator.
